HOUSTON — A commerical and industrial infrastructure repair company claims a former employee stole their confidential information and equipment to start his own competing business.
Structural Concrete Systems LLC filed a complaint https://s3.amazonaws.com/jnswire/jns-media/f6/c2/11881988/104758649.PDF Oct. 25 in Harris County District Court against Restoration LLC, Christopher Reeves and Cheyenne Reeves alleging tortious interference with existing and prospective business relationships and other claims.
According to Structural Concrete's complaint, Reeves worked for the company from 2003 through 2005 and again in 2011 when he became vice president. They claim that in April of 2021, Reeves resigned with the intention to use Structural Concrete's confidential information to become a competitor through his new company, Restoration.
Structural Concrete further claims that Reeves then began to access its computer systems to disclose, steal and convert the company's confidential information "for his own personal use and benefit." They allege that Reeves also obtained their equipment and assets and failed to return them despite repeated requests. Structural Concrete claims Reeves' actions caused them lost revenues and lost goodwill in the amount of at least $100,000.
Structural Concrete seeks monetary relief of at least $200,000, interest and all other just relief. They are represented by Stuart Wilson of Wilson & Associates PC in Houston.
