Houston builder alleges couple owes more than $66,000 for home construction project

GALVESTON — A Houston builder alleges a couple has failed to pay him for work done at their property in Galveston County. 

Buildings By All Phase doing business as Barns and Buildings filed a complaint Oct. 26 in Galveston County District Court against Thomas J. Godinich, Jr., and Brandi Godinich alleging breach of contract and other claims.

According to the complaint, Buildings By All Phase entered into a contract with the defendants "to provide materials and services" for improvements to properties owned by the defendants in Galveston.  Buildings By All Phase claims they have performed all the conditions under the contract which included the building of a Gable custom home with front and rear porch and that the defendants have failed to pay $66,837.64 plus interest for the project. 

The plaintiff also claims that they have made demands for payment without any payments being made by the defendants and allege the defendants are in breach of contract. Buildings By All Phase alleges it has filed a lien on the property and request that the lien be ordered and foreclosed to seize the defendant's property. 

The plaintffs seek monetary and all other just relief. They are represened by William Boyd and S. Scott Boyd of Patterson, Boyd & Lowery PC in Houston.
