HOUSTON — A woman claims treatments she received at a chiropractic clinic in Houston caused her debilitating injuries.

Courtney Miller filed a complaint Jan. 9 in Harris County District Court against Campbell Health Center PLLC doing buisiness as Campbell Health Clinic, Dr. Suhyun An and Dr. Joseph Vega alleging negligence.

According to her complaint, Miller went to Campbell Health Clinic on Sept. 16, 2021, for a "minor ache in her upper back." She claims after being treated by the defendants, her pain worsened including experiencing numbness and tingling in her legs and in her calf and being left with severe mobility issues.

Miller further claims she has had to seek medical treatment that included epidural steroid injections and requires physical therapy. She alleges that defendants failed to properly exam her condition and breached their duty to provide proper care. Miller claims as a result of her injuries, she suffered pain, disfigurement, impairment, lost wages and incurred medical treatment expenses.

Miller seeks monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. She is represented by Blair Burnside and Jonathan Anderson of Anderson Burnside PLLC in Houston.
