HOUSTON — A woman alleges she fell on slippery substance while at NRG Park in Houston and suffered injuries.

Lauren Sanchez filed a complaint Feb. 17 in Harris County District Court against Ray Cammack Shows Inc., and Houston LIve Stock Show and Rodeo Inc., alleging negligence.

Sanchez alleges in her complaint that she was at the defendants' premises in Houston on March 5, 2022. She claims she slipped on a slippery substance on the floor and fell. Sanchez alleges she suffered pain, mental anguish, impairment, lost earnings, disfigurement and incurred medical treatment expenses.

She further alleges the defendants' negligence for failing to warn of the dangerous condition, failing to maintain and inspect the property and failing to remove the slippery substance that caused her slip and fall. She claims the defendants were also negligent for failing to have adequate lighting in the area, failing to properly train its staff and for not implementing proper safety policies and procedures.

Sanchez seeks monetary relief between $250,000 and $1 million, interest, and all other just relief. She is represented by James Lassiter, III, Mohammed Nabulsi  and Timothy McHale of The Lassister Law Firm in Houston.
