GALVESTON — A Galveston County rental equipment business alleges a construction company has failed to pay for more than $16,000 in equipment.
Mustang Rental Services of Texas LLC doing business as Mustang Rental Services filed a complaint Feb. 17 in Galveston County District Court against Jan's Construction alleging breach of contract and other claims.
According to their complaint, Mustang Rental furnished merchandise totaling $16,463.92. They claim the defendants completed a credit application in October of 2018 and have failed to pay the debt. The plaintiff further claims it has allowed all offsets, credits and payments, however the defendants have not paid the balance due. Mustang alleges as a result of the defendants' failing to pay for the rental equipment, they have suffered economic damages and incurred court costs.
Mustang Rental seeks monetary relief, interest, trial by jury and all other just relief. They are represented by Dean Pappas, Mary Markantonis and Carla Delpit of The Dean G. Pappas Law Firm PLLC in Houston.
