Patent Armoury, a Canadian corporation, has filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Austin electronics retailer Monoprice, alleging that Monoprice knowingly produced and sold devices that violate Patent Armoury's phased array sound system patent.
Patent Armoury, Inc. filed suit in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas Waco Division against Monoprice, Inc., alleging patent infringement.
According to the lawsuit, the Patent Armoury, a corporation based in Canada, accuses Monoprice of infringing on its patent for a "phased array sound system." Patent Armoury claims that Monoprice has manufactured and sold numerous devices that infringe on the company's patent with full knowledge of the infringement and continues to sell the products despite being notified of the complaint.
Patent Armoury is demanding a jury trial to seek damages plus interest, court costs, attorney fees, and any other relief the court deems proper. The plaintiff is represented in this case by attorney Isaac Rabicoff of Rabicoff Law LLC, in Harrison, New York.
