HOUSTON – A patron is suing the Chilos Seafood in Houston, claiming that he was was physically assaulted by an employee at the restaurant.
Plaintiff Luis Bonilla filed the lawsuit in the Harris County District Court against Chilos Seafood and an unnamed employee, citing allegations of assault and battery.
According to the lawsuit, on October 12, 2022 Bonilla was a patron of the Chilos Seafood restaurant in Houston and claims that while he was on the premises, he was physically assaulted by an unknown Chilo's employee.
Bonnilla claims to have sustained several serious injuries from the assault, which have caused him to experience pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment, disfigurement, and lost wages, and further claims that his injuries will impact his ability to earn income. He adds that he has incurred medical expenses and will continue to require the services of medical staff to recover from his injuries.
The lawsuit states that Chilo's is vicariously responsible for the conduct of the employee and the injuries and damages to the plaintiff.
The plaintiff is requesting a jury trial to seek judgment for damages plus interest, court costs and any other relief the court deems proper. He is represented in this case by attorney Eric D. Nielsen of The Nielsen Law Firm, P.C. in Houston.
