HOUSTON – A customer is suing the Dollhouse Beauty salon in Houston for damages, claiming that she was severely burned when an employee allegedly spilled boiling liquid on her.
Plaintiff Kendra Dorsey filed the lawsuit in the Harris County District Court against Dollhouse Beauty, LLC, citing allegations of negligence and premises liability.
According to court documents, on October 19, 2023, Dorsey was a patron of the Dollhouse Beauty salon in Houston. She claims that while she was on the premises, an employee spilled boiling liquid on her, causing her to suffer third-degree burns. The lawsuit states that the defendant was negligent in its failure to maintain and inspect the premises to provide a safe environment for customers, adequately warn of potential dangers, and train employees to prevent such incidents.
The plaintiff is seeking damages for medical expenses, pain and suffering, physical impairment, disfigurement, lost wages, and future loss of earning capacity, plus interest, court costs and any other relief the court deems proper.
