HOUSTON - A slip and fall lawsuit seeking more than $1 million in damages has been brought against Spaghetti Western.

Alleging premise liability, Marissa Gonzalez filed the suit on Dec. 18 in Harris County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Dec. 11, 2022, Gonzalez was a patron at The Spaghetti Western Italian Cafe in Houston. When leaving, she slipped and fell on greasy floor mats near the exit.

She was transported to the hospital via EMS and had to undergo emergency knee surgery four days later.

“Due to Defendant’s greasy, slippery floormats, the exit to the restaurant was unreasonably dangerous,” the suit states. “Defendant failed to make the unreasonably dangerous condition safe for its patrons.”

Gonzalez is suing for her pain, impairment, disfigurement and loss of earnings.

Attorney Alvaro Silverio of the Austin law firm of Fogelman & Von Flatern represents her.
