Constance Millard sues American Bureau of Shipping for the death of Jason Krell

In a lawsuit filed in the Harris County District Court, Texas, on April 10, 2024 (case ID: 2024-22725), plaintiffs Constance Millard and Gerald Krell, individually and as representatives of the estate of Jason Krell, deceased; and Michelle Martin, as tutrix and next friend of A.P., E.P., and M.S., minors, and as representative of the estate of Quinon Pitre have sued defendants American Bureau of Shipping, ABS Group of Companies Inc., ABSG Consulting Inc., ABS Quality Evaluations Inc., and ABS Group. The case revolves around the death of Jason Krell and Quinon Pitre for which the plaintiffs hold the defendants responsible.

The plaintiffs are citizens and residents of Texas while all defendants are foreign corporations with their principal place of business in Harris County, Texas. The plaintiffs seek judgment against all defendants for all damages recoverable under maritime law including pre-judgment interest, post-judgment interest, costs and disbursements incurred herein.
