Bradley is pleased to announce the addition of associates Miatta C. Echetebu, Samuel P. Gillaspie, Charles Hutchison and Nick E. McTarnaghan to the firm’s Houston office.
Ms. Echetebu represents clients across multiple industries throughout the entire business lifecycle as a member of the firm’s Corporate and Securities Practice Group, from corporate restructuring and formation to mergers and acquisitions. She has experience fundraising through private equity investments and forming and operating funds for large and reputable private fund sponsors. Ms. Echetebu has also represented some of the leading private equity firms in asset purchase, equity offerings, joint ventures and other corporate and securities transactions. She received her J.D. from the University of Texas Law School, her M.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and her B.A. from Duke University.
Mr. Gillaspie is a member of the Litigation Practice Group and represents clients in complex energy, commercial and construction litigation matters. He has experience developing a wide variety of cases, including contract drafting, transactional work, and litigation. Mr. Gillaspie participated in a weeklong trial in Harris County District Court where he helped obtain a favorable defense verdict for his clients. Mr. Gillaspie received his J.D. (cum laude) from the South Texas College of Law and earned his B.A. from Baylor University. Prior to attending law school, he worked in completion pipeline sales, giving him a deep understanding of the oilfield industry in Texas and Louisiana.
Mr. Hutchison is also a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group, where he represents clients in commercial, general liability, insurance, oil and gas and construction litigation. He received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.A. from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. During law school, Mr. Hutchison gained valuable experience assisting attorneys with successful products liability, insurance subrogation, and wildfire litigation cases. He was also a student trainee at the United States Commodity Future Trading Commission’s Enforcement Division and worked in the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C.
Mr. McTarnaghan is a member of Bradley’s Construction Practice Group and represents construction, transportation and warehouse clients in commercial litigation, contract breaches, personal injury defense litigation and insurance matters. He has experience in both plaintiff and defense work, successfully representing clients in state in federal court involving a wide variety of matters, including contract law, commercial litigation, commercial real estate, warehousing, personal injury, insurance coverage, regulatory compliance, labor and employment and class actions. Mr. McTarnaghan received his J.D. from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Florida.
