Bradley is pleased to announce that Gabriella E. Alonso has been named vice chair of the Regional and Community Banks Subcommittee of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Banking Law Committee.
The Regional and Community Banks Subcommittee is dedicated to identifying and analyzing all banking matters affecting non-money center banks with a particular emphasis on corporate governance matters related to regulatory compliance, risk management and corporate structure. Ms. Alonso will assist the subcommittee chair and vice-chairs, including Jera L. Bradshaw, who serves as counsel in Bradley’s Banking & Financial Services Practice Group, in coordinating programming on topics impacting regional and community banks.
An associate in Bradley’s Dallas office, Ms. Alonso represents financial institutions in a variety of corporate and commercial matters. She has experience defending banks, lenders, and other members of the financial services industry in complex disputes, which allows her to provide strategic guidance to financial institutions and privately held companies as they navigate industry-specific regulatory, compliance and corporate issues.
Ms. Alonso received her J.D. from Washington & Lee University School of Law and earned her B.A. from the University of Idaho. In 2022, she was selected as a 2022 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Pathfinder and in 2023 she was selected for U.S. Bank’s annual Spotlight on Talent Program.
