Houston Funplex hit with trip & fall lawsuit

HOUSTON - A trip and fall lawsuit seeking up to $1 million in damages has been brought against Houston Funplex. 

Alleging gross negligence, Elizabeth Ann Mckenzie filed her suit on Feb. 19 in Harris County District Court. 

According to her lawsuit, on Sept. 17, 2023, the plaintiff was walking down steps in the defendant’s poorly lit building when her grandchild pointed to the customer desk. The plaintiff turned and tripped over a thick exposed wire and fell, which resulted in serious lingering injuries. 

The plaintiff is represented by attorney Wesley Pluviose-Philip.
