HOUSTON - A slip and fall lawsuit seeking up to $250,000 has been brought against Buckner Retirement Services.
Alleging negligence, Shawn Chavis filed the suit April 1 in Harris County District Court.
According to the petition, on Feb. 29 Chavis was walking in the lunch area of Buckner’s place of business when they slipped on a wet substance on the floor.
There were no warning signs in the area, the suit states.
