Meagan Williams sues Itzel Campos Sanchez, Fabiola Campos Sanchez, and Joel Mendoza Heras for dog attack

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, plaintiff Meagan Williams has filed a lawsuit against defendants Itzel Campos Sanchez, Fabiola Campos Sanchez, and Joel Mendoza Heras. The case was filed on March 27, 2024, under the court case ID 2024-19429. The lawsuit is about an alleged dog attack that resulted in severe bodily injuries to the plaintiff.

The incident occurred on October 18, 2023, when the defendants' large German Shepherd-like dog allegedly attacked Ms. Williams as she walked along a residential street. At the time of the attack, Ms. Williams was pregnant and feared for her life as well as for her unborn child's safety.

The dog reportedly leapt onto Ms. Williams causing her to fall face and stomach first onto the ground before violently biting her buttock until flesh was torn away. The plaintiff suffered severe physical pain and mental anguish from the attack which also resulted in torn clothes and broken glasses.

Ms. Williams is seeking monetary relief over $250,000 but not more than $1,000,000 for damages including penalties, costs, expenses, pre-judgment interest, attorney’s fees and all other relief to which she is justly entitled.
