In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, plaintiffs Alan Garcia and Deysi Maldonado Alquisira have filed a lawsuit against defendants Christopher Flamenco and Reina Salmeron. The case, bearing the ID 2024-21 703 and dated April 5, 2024, alleges negligence on part of the defendants resulting in a car collision causing bodily harm to the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs claim that on January 8, 2003, while stopped at an intersection in Houston, Texas, their vehicle was hit by Mr. Flamenco's car which was allegedly owned by Ms. Salmeron. The impact resulted in serious personal injuries and other damages for which they are now seeking redress. The suit alleges that Mr. Flamenco failed to control his vehicle's speed leading to the collision.

The plaintiffs are requesting judgment under Discovery Plan Level 3 pursuant to Rule 190.4 of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. They allege that Mr. Flamenco breached common law and statutory duties through negligent operation of his vehicle and violation of Texas traffic laws including failure to control speed and reckless driving.
