Rizwan Mehdi sues BW Stores for negligence resulting in bodily harm

In the District Court of Harris County, Texas, plaintiff Rizwan Mehdi has filed a lawsuit against BW Stores, LLC. The case ID is 2024-23009 and was filed on April 11, 2024. The suit revolves around an incident that occurred at one of the defendant's stores which resulted in serious bodily injuries to the plaintiff.

Mehdi, a resident of Fort Bend County, Texas, alleges that he was attacked by two large unleashed dogs at the defendant's store located at 11449 Bob White Drive in Houston. The attack caused him to trip and fall. BW Stores, LLC is a Texas company with its principal place of business in Houston. The defendant may be served through its registered agent, Riyaz Sunesara.

The plaintiff claims that the defendant failed to exercise reasonable care in fulfilling its duties as the owner of the premises and failed to take reasonable steps to protect the safety of its patrons. Mehdi further accuses BW Stores of negligence for not notifying anyone or placing any notices or barricades to warn of the unsafe conditions on their premises.

Mehdi seeks monetary relief of more than $1 million including damages of any kind, penalties, costs, expenses, pre-judgment interest, and attorney’s fees. He alleges that due to BW Store's negligent acts and/or omissions he suffered serious bodily injuries and significant loss for which he seeks redress.
