Gloria Martinez sues Qualtek Wireless for a car accident

Gloria Martinez has filed a lawsuit against Qualtek Wireless, LLC in the County Court at Law No. 4 in Harris County, Texas. The case, bearing ID 1226271, was filed on April 15, 2024 and pertains to an automobile accident that occurred on July 5, 2022.

The plaintiff, Gloria Martinez, alleges that while she was stopped at a red light in her 2019 Ram 1500 in Houston, Texas, she was rear-ended by Richard Mireles, an employee of Qualtek Wireless. The collision was investigated by an officer from the Houston Police Department who determined Mr. Mireles to be solely responsible for the accident and cited him for Failure to Control Speed.

The suit accuses Mr. Mireles of negligence including failure to keep a proper lookout or pay proper attention, failure to yield the right of way and control his speed among other violations of the Texas Transportation Code. It also holds Qualtek Wireless liable for his actions under the legal doctrine of respondeat superior.

Martinez is seeking monetary relief of $100,000 or less for damages including past and future medical expenses, physical pain and mental anguish suffered both in the past and anticipated in the future as well as physical impairment endured and expected.
