In a lawsuit filed in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, with the case ID 2024-17959 on March 20, 2024, plaintiff Joshua Spry is suing King Fuels Inc., Niazi Family Properties LLC, and Marina Shell for wrongful death. The case revolves around the tragic death of G.S., a minor, allegedly due to the negligence of the defendants in selling alcoholic beverages to minors.

Joshua Spry, represented by an unnamed lawyer, alleges that on March 26, 2022, two minors J.H. and M.S. purchased alcoholic beverages from Marina Shell without their identification being checked for legal age. The purchased alcohol was then consumed by these minors along with G.S., who subsequently died. The defendants are said to be operating under registered agents Eddie M. Krenek and Zaki Niazi.

Spry is seeking monetary relief exceeding one million dollars ($1,000,000), excluding interest, statutory or punitive damages and penalties, attorney fees and costs. This amount is not based on a specific dollar value but rather on the collective wisdom of a jury which will consider non-economic damages such as pain and suffering.
