Gregory Nava has filed a lawsuit against several companies and an individual, alleging negligence that led to his personal injuries. The complaint was filed in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, on January 23, 2025. The defendants named in the suit are John Doe, Beacon Sales Acquisition, Inc., Beacon Roofing Supply, Inc., and Cervelle Homes, Inc.

The case revolves around an incident that occurred on November 15, 2024. According to the petition filed by Gregory Nava, he was performing roofing work at a job site located at 2105 Sheldon Road in Houston, Texas. During this time, it is alleged that John Doe, an employee of Beacon Roofing Supply and Beacon Sales Acquisition, negligently operated a crane which resulted in an oil leak on the roof. This hazardous condition caused Nava to slip and fall off the roof. As a result of this accident, Nava sustained physical injuries for which he holds all defendants jointly and severally liable.

Nava's claims are grounded in theories of negligence and premises liability. He accuses the defendants of failing to recognize and correct unsafe conditions at the job site, inadequate supervision of employees, lack of proper safety measures or procedures, insufficient inspection of the premises for potential hazards, failure to provide a safe working environment, and neglecting to warn him about dangerous conditions present at the site. These omissions and acts of negligence are claimed to be direct causes of Nava's injuries.

In terms of relief sought from the court, Gregory Nava is pursuing monetary compensation exceeding $250,000 but not more than $1 million. This amount includes damages for past and future medical expenses, pain and suffering (both past and future), mental anguish, physical impairment and disfigurement (past and future), as well as lost wages and loss of earning capacity moving forward. Additionally, he seeks pre-judgment interest along with any other relief deemed appropriate by law or equity.

Representing Gregory Nava in this legal battle is Huynh Law PLLC with attorneys Sarah Y-Nhi Huynh (SBN: 24092558), Pavel "Paul" Savinov (SBN: 24086698), Michael Alvarez (SBN: 24068754), and Jay M.
