Tony Willis has taken legal action against three companies following a serious injury he sustained on their premises. On February 6, 2025, Willis filed a complaint in the District Court of Harris County, Texas, targeting Brazos Fence, Inc., Third Coast Fulfillment, LLC, and GHE II, Ltd. The lawsuit accuses these entities of negligence leading to hazardous conditions that resulted in his injuries.

The case stems from an incident on May 1, 2023, when Tony Willis visited the premises of Third Coast Fulfillment at 3810 Dacoma in Houston. According to the petition, while entering the parking lot owned by GHE II and where Brazos Fence was conducting construction work, Willis tripped over a wire strung at foot level without any warning signs. This fall led to severe injuries for which Willis holds all three defendants accountable. He argues that they failed in their duty to maintain a safe environment and did not provide adequate warnings about potential dangers.

Willis's petition outlines several accusations against the defendants. He claims they were negligent by creating or allowing dangerous conditions on their property and failing to exercise reasonable care to ensure safety. "Defendants knew or should have known that the dangerous conditions existed," asserts the complaint. Furthermore, it emphasizes that these companies had control over the premises and thus bore responsibility for preventing harm by maintaining safety standards and providing necessary warnings about hidden hazards.

The plaintiff is seeking substantial compensation for his injuries which include personal harm, mental anguish, physical pain and suffering, medical expenses, and ongoing impairment. The petition demands monetary relief exceeding $1 million along with court costs and both pre-judgment and post-judgment interest as deemed appropriate by law. Additionally, Willis requests exemplary damages due to what he describes as gross negligence on part of the defendants.

Representing Tony Willis is attorney R. Jason Holladay from Holladay Law Firm based in Spring, Texas. The case has been assigned Case ID 2025-08185 in the 333rd Judicial District Court of Harris County with Judge Marilyn Burgess presiding over it.
