A devastating car crash has led to a legal battle in Denton County, Texas, as a family seeks justice for the injuries and trauma they endured. On May 1, 2025, Michael Dolores and Ansherina Dolores filed a complaint in the District Court of Denton County against Nicholas S. Mansour, following an accident that left them and their infant daughter shaken.

The incident occurred on July 29, 2023, when Michael and Ansherina were stopped at a traffic light with their two-month-old daughter A.D. in Prosper, Texas. Suddenly, their vehicle was violently rear-ended by Nicholas Mansour's Toyota Sequoia SUV. The force of the collision propelled their car off the road into a field and resulted in further damage as Mansour's vehicle continued to strike another car. According to the police report included in the court filing, Mansour failed to control his speed, leading to this traumatic event.

The plaintiffs allege that Mansour's negligence caused both physical and emotional harm. They claim he operated his vehicle carelessly by failing to stop or maintain a safe speed and distance. These actions are cited as violations of traffic regulations that directly resulted in the crash. The Dolores family is seeking damages exceeding $100,000 but less than $1 million for pain and suffering, mental anguish, medical expenses, lost wages, and loss of enjoyment of life.

In addition to financial compensation within the jurisdictional limits of the court, the plaintiffs request pre-judgment interest from the date of injury through judgment at the maximum rate allowed by law. They also seek post-judgment interest at the legal rate and any other relief deemed appropriate by law or equity.

Representing Michael and Ansherina Dolores is Scott J. Davenport from Davenport Law Firm P.C., with Kirsten Davenport also listed as counsel for the plaintiffs. The case has been assigned Case ID 2025-30715 in front of Judge Christopher Matthews at Harris County's 152nd District Court.
