The Department of Labor’s (“DOL”) Wage and Hour division issued a highly anticipated notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) on March 7, 2019, seeking to raise the minimum salary threshold to qualify for the Fair Labor Standard Act’s (“FLSA”) “white collar” exemptions for executive, administrative, or professional (“EAP”) workers.
