Unidentified local parents are claiming their minor child was assaulted by another minor child and are suing the assaulting child's parent.
The suit identifies the plaintiffs as R.T. and K.T. and the defendant as L.D. The suit was filed with the Jefferson County District Court on Oct. 30.
According to the plaintiffs' original petition, the minor defendant was assaulted on June 2, 2006.
The suit does not give any details about the attack or where it took place. The suit only says the minor plaintiff's parent was negligent in the supervision of his/her child.
The plaintiffs are seeking all damages allowable under Texas Law.
