Michael Didier is suing Hollie Howard for ignoring a stop sign and sideswiping his vehicle.
The suit was filed March 26 in Orange County District Court.
According to the suit, on April 19, 2008, Didier was traveling on State Highway 12 in Bridge City when Howard allegedly "failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign, entered the intersection and slammed into plaintiff."
The suit accuses Howard of failing to keep a proper lookout and of disregarding a stop sign.
Didier is suing for past and future medical expenses, mental anguish and lost wages.
He is represented by attorney Jonathan Juahn.
The case has been assigned to Judge Buddy Hahn, 260th Judicial District.
