Buna resident Julian McGalin has filed suit against Nederland local Jason Dale, who allegedly pulled out into traffic from the shoulder and struck McGalin's vehicle.
The suit was filed Sept. 20 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Sept. 5 McGalin was traveling on Highway 62 in Jasper County when Guidry, who was parked on the shoulder, suddenly made a left turn and struck his vehicle.
The suit alleges Guidry negligently caused the collision.
The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.
Attorney Paul Ferguson Jr. of the Provost Umphrey Law Firm in Beaumont represents him.
Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, has been assigned to the case.
