Air Comfort awarded $11K default judgment

After two months of litigation, Air Comfort was recently awarded a default judgment against Christina Delgadillo.

Air Comfort filed suit against Delgadillo and Jack Aulbaugh on Oct. 21 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, the defendants owed $11,125 on a delinquent account for goods and services rendered.

Court records show that Aulbaugh was non-suited by the plaintiff on Nov. 4

On Dec. 19, Delgadillo failed to answer the suit and appear before the court, entitling Air Comfort to a default judgment of $11,125.

The company was also granted an additional $3,000 for attorney's fees, court papers say.

Beaumont attorney Daniel Clayton represented Air Comfort.

Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, presided over the litigation.
