Houston woman sues over rear-end collision

Houston resident Carrie Oldbury is suing Patrick Gravett, a Wimberley resident, for rear-ending her vehicle nearly two years ago.

The suit was filed on Jan. 25 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, Gravett rear-ended Oldbury on April 29, 2010.

The suit fails to specifically state how or where the incident occurred.

The suit alleges the defendant negligently failed to keep a proper lookout and observe traffic signals.

The plaintiff is suing for her alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Beaumont attorney Ryan Scott represents her.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, is assigned to the case.
