Market Basket is facing an August trial in litigation brought by Dana Falcon, a store employee who was allegedly injured when an oven exploded.
As previously reported, Falcon filed the application for injunctive relief against TSTL Investments, doing business as Market Basket No. 2, on June 21, 2011, in Jefferson County District Court.
On Jan. 10 a discovery control plan order was entered in the suit, calling for the case to be meditated before July 31 or face an August trial.
According to the original petition, on June 5, 2011, Falcon was injured while working for the store when a commercial oven exploded.
Judge Bob Wortham, 58th District Court, is assigned to the case.
