Two local businesses are in litigation over a delinquent account totaling more than $15,000.
Seeking payment for services rendered, Applied Standards Inspection filed suit against Absolute Pipeline Maintenance & Consulting on June 18 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff rendered services to the defendant but the company has refused to pay.
The suit does not state what services were rendered and only alleges that Absolute Pipeline owed $15,115.
On top of actual damages, the plaintiff is also seeking to recover an additional $1,000 for attorney's fees.
Beaumont attorney John Morgan represents the plaintiff.
Judge Milton Shuffield, 136th District Court, is assigned to the case.
