State files lawsuit against woman allegedly in possession of contraband

The state of Texas has filed a notice of seizure and intention to forfeit against a Port Arthur woman.

The state alleges Dory Lashard Parker possesses a 1999 white Ford Taurus four-door vehicle that is considered contraband. It is asking the court to order the contraband forfeited.

The state will be represented by Assistant District Attorney Daniel Hunt.
