Woman sues after collision on Texas Avenue

A woman is suing after sustaining injury in a car collision.

Martha Lloyd Tucker filed a lawsuit Jan. 21 in the Galveston County Circuit Court against Alicia Dianna Johnson, citing negligence. 

According to the complaint, on Feb. 6, 2012, Tucker was driving eastbound in the 1300 block of Texas Avenue when she slowed to make a right turn and was rear-ended by Johnson, causing damage to her vehicle and person. Johnson is accused of following too closely and failing to travel at a safe speed.

Tucker is being represented in the case by attorney Darrell A. Apffel of Bettison, Doyle, Apffel & Guarino P.C.
