Passenger sues for discovery in crash suit

A woman suing for damages stemming from a vehicle crash filed a court petition seeking discovery and production of documents. 

Estella Ceja filed the petition in the Jefferson County District Court against Regina Levine.

The lawsuit states Ceja was a passenger in a vehicle in Port Arthur when Levine failed to yield the right of way and collided with the vehicle in which Ceja was traveling.

Ceja is claiming Levine was negligent and is seeking more than $75,000 in damages, the complaint states.

Ceja is also seeking pre-judgment interest, post-judgment interest and court costs.

She is being represented by McKey, Morrison and Sanchez.
