A bank is seeking foreclosure on a Nederland residential property.
Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. filed an application for Home Equity Foreclosure Order and Affidavit on Feb. 14 in the Jefferson County District Court against property at 1311 Luling Ave., Nederland, owned and occupied by Charles and Melinda Irons.
The couple executed a promissory note on March 15, 2004, for $61,600, according to the complaint. The amount required to cure the default as of Dec. 19, 2013, is $60,193.37, according to the complaint. The amount required to pay off the loan prior to Dec. 19, 2013, is $136,616.96, the complaint said.
The bank is seeking a court order to continue with the foreclosure.
