A vehicle crash victim is suing the other driver and the bar that served the driver alcohol for injuries and damages.
Douglas Dommert filed a lawsuit April 2 in the Jefferson County District Court against driver Robert Carlo Pastorella Jr., Gold Triangle Entertainment Group Inc. and Beaumont Entertainment Inc., citing negligence.
The lawsuit alleges Pastorella became drunk at Whisky River/The River/Beaumont Whiskey River on June 16, 2012, and then caused a vehicle collision on June 17, 2012, resulting in Dommert’s injuries.
Dommert is seeking damages that include past and future medical expenses, lost earning capacity, physical impairment, pain, mental anguish, disfigurement and exemplary damages, plus court costs.
