A local brick and masonry company is suing a client claiming he refused to pay for services rendered.

James Neal, individually and as president of Craftsman Masonry Inc., filed a lawsuit April 15 in the Galveston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Robert Wright, citing breach of contract, family code liability and quantum meruit

Neal claims he performed certain repairs and modifications to the defendant's home on Creek Side in League City. The suit alleges these repairs were done well and according to the contract.

However, Neal claims Wright still owes $7,000 after change orders and partial payments, which he has failed to pay, according to the suit.

Neal is seeking damages, attorneys fees, interest and court costs.

He is being represented by Galveston attorney Mark W. Stevens.
