Man sues over traffic collision injuries

A man is suing another driver, claiming a traffic accident left him injured.


Frank Pilcher filed a lawsuit April 4 in the Galveston County District Court against Jacinto Martinez Carrillo, citing negligence.


The lawsuit states Pilcher was traveling on Stewart Road on March 7, 2013, when he was struck from behind by Carrillo, who was cited for speeding. Pilcher had to undergo arthroscopic and knee replacement surgeries on his left knee and sustained injuries to his neck, back and body, according to the complaint.


Pilcher is seeking damages between $200,000 and $1 million.


He is being represented by Weller, Green, Toups & Terrell L.L.P.
