A bank has filed an application for an expedited order on a home equity loan against a Beaumont couple.
Deutsche Bank National Trust Co. alleges defendants Kimel and Elizabeth Hensley took out a home equity loan. However, they have failed to make 20 monthly payments, according to the complaint filed Aug. 11 in Jefferson County District Court.
"The amount required to cure the default is $25,458.99," the suit states. "The total amount required to pay off the loan agreement, contract, or lien is $106,329.46."
In its petition, Deutsche Bank seeks an expedited order that would allow it to proceed with the foreclosure on the home equity loan.
Deutsche Bank will be represented by Kendra Wiley, Lori Liane Long, Tracey Midkiff and Israel Saucedo of Mackie, Wolf, Zientz and Mann in Dallas.
