An employee is suing a liquid-solid separation company, alleging unpaid wages.

Chad Chandler filed a lawsuit Nov. 10 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Kayden Industries (USA) Inc., alleging breach of contract and unpaid overtime and wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The suit states while Chandler has been employed by Kayden Industries as a field technician, from April 2013 to the present, he has regularly worked more than 84 hours per week and has been paid on a salary or day rate system.

The complaint states the plaintiff was promised certain bonuses and/or commissions that were not properly paid or included in his regular rate of pay, resulting in deprivation of contractually owed wages and overtime pay.

Chandler seeks unpaid back wages, liquidated damages, actual and consequential damages, interests, attorney fees and costs of the suit. He is represented by attorneys J. Derek Braziel and J. Forester of Lee & Braziel in Dallas.

Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas case number 4:15-cv-03314.
