The plaintiff Autoloxer is based in McKinney.

It has pursued legal action in response to alleged infringement of United States Patent Number 7,084,735.

The patent in question, titled “Remote Vehicle Security System,” was issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office on Aug. 1, 2006.

According to court papers, the ‘735 Patent “has been cited as prior art during the prosecution history of subsequently-issued United States patents, including patents assigned to Polaris Industries Inc. and Caterpillar Inc.”

Autoloxer seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

Attorney David R. Bennett of the law firm Direction IP Law in Chicago is representing the plaintiff.
