Mineraltech Gulf Coast Abrasives employee alleged to have injured motorist in accident

Car accident 13

BEAUMONT – A Beaumont man alleges he was injured in a collision with a Mineraltech Gulf Coast Abrasives employee.

Brian Trahan filed a complaint on Oct. 7 in Jefferson County District Court against Mineraltech Gulf Coast Abrasives LLC and Eugene Thompson alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 23 he was injured when the vehicle he was in was struck by an automobile owned by defendant Mineraltech and operated by defendant Thompson. He alleges he sustained costs for medical expenses, pain and suffering, mental anguish and lost wages.

The plaintiff holds Mineraltech Gulf Coast Abrasives LLC and Thompson responsible because Thompson allegedly failed to yield right of way, failed to keep proper lookout and failed to maintain proper control of the vehicle.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendants for all damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and such other and further relief. He is represented by Gilbert T. Adams III of Gilbert Adams Law Office in Beaumont.
