Customer blames Wal-Mart for injuries

GALVESTON — A Texas City customer is suing Wal-Mart, alleging its negligence caused him to suffer injuries. 

Michael Tyler Jr. filed a complaint March 17 in Galveston County District Court against Wal-Mart Stores Texas LLC and QSR'S of Texas Inc., doing business as McDonalds,alleging they failed to maintain their premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on July 26, 2015, Tyler  was a patron at the defendants' premises in La Marque when suffered injuries as a result of the premises being in a defective and/or hazardous condition. The suit says He has suffered physical and mental pain, disfigurement, lost wages and medical expenses. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendants allegedly negligently created and allowed the existence of a dangerous condition in their property.

Tyler seeks trial by jury, monetary relief of more than $1 million and all other just and proper relief. He is represented by attorney Lawrence M. Tylka of Tylka Law Center PC in League City.
