HOUSTON – A Harris County resident has filed a suit seeking at least $200,000 against his former girlfriend over allegedly defamatory social media posts.

Christopher Aycock filed a complaint on Aug. 2 in the Harris County District Court against Jessica Miller alleging defamation.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and the defendant were romantically involved and the relationship ended in 2014. He alleges beginning in 2017, the defendant posted false and defamatory statements on social media about him that attacked his character and reputation.

The plaintiff holds Miller responsible because the defendant allegedly posted false and defamatory statements against him on the social media platforms by accusing him of crimes and depravity.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and all other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Roger N. Chrisco of Chrisco Law Firm in Liberty.
