HOUSTON – A welder’s helper filed a lawsuit against ProStar Manufacturing, Inc. after allegedly sustaining a hand injury last year.

Court documents claim that Isaias Martinez’s right hand was hit by a 25-ft. piece of pipe on the morning of Aug. 11, 2017. Martinez says his hand was crushed and he was diagnosed with a “fracture of the distal phalanx of his right index finger and a fracture of the right middle finger.”

The plaintiff was reportedly terminated from his job for reasons not mentioned in the suit following the incident.

Consequently, Martinez seeks unspecified monetary damages.

He is represented by Harry C. Arthur of Houston.
