HOUSTON – A Brazoria County man alleges he was terminated by a medical facility over an allegation without being able to present his side of events.
Reynaldo Colindres filed a complaint on Aug. 10 in the Harris County District Court against The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System (MD Anderson Cancer System) alleging breach of contract and due process violations.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant as a nurse and was terminated "under an allegation that a heparin drip was connected directly to the PICC line in a patient."
The plaintiff holds The Board of Regents of the University of Texas System (MD Anderson Cancer System) responsible because the defendant allegedly was denied his right to present his side of the dispute.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, plus interest, costs fees and declaratory and injunctive relief. He is represented by Stephen E. Menn of The Law Office of Stephen E. Menn in Houston.
