HOUSTON – A Harris County couple have filed a deceptive trade practices lawsuit against a Tomball swimming pool contractor.

Jerry and Carolyn Allsen allege that Regal Pool & Design, LLC’s work on a pool and a pool house failed to meet their specifications.

The Allsens’ suit, which was filed on Sept. 18 in the Harris County 125th District Court, faults the business for failing to match the mortar for the pool house to the main home, install abalone shell component to the pool plaster, install the pool lights in a specified location, install a waterfall without leaking water; and perform proper accounting regarding invoices.

Three Regal employees – Joshua Buzzell, Edwin Escobar, and Cory Adams – are listed as co-defendants for purportedly making false representations to the plaintiffs.

Consequently, the couple seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

They are represented by Patrick O’Hara of the O’Hara Law Firm in Houston.
