GALVESTON – An equipment rental company alleges a Galveston County-headquartered business failed to pay for the rental of equipment and failed to return some of the equipment.

Hytorc of Texas Inc. filed a complaint on Sept. 20 in the Galveston County District Court against Crawford Industrial Services LLC alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 29, 2016, the defendant rented heavy construction equipment from plaintiff. The suit states the defendant returned some of the equipment in December 2016 and has failed to pay invoices for August through November 2016 and seven days of December 2016.

As a result of defendant's actions, the plaintiff alleges it has been damaged for the unpaid rent in the sum of $35,901.94 and an additional amount of $16,076.17 for the unreturned equipment.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of less than $100,000 and all other legal and equitable relief to which plaintiff is entitled. It is represented by Randy L. Wooten of Randy L. Wooten PC in Houston.
