HOUSTON – A Harris County man has filed a lawsuit against The Home Depot U.S.A. after he allegedly suffered injuries while assembling a product that he purchased from the home improvement retailer.

Richard A. Taylor explains in court documents filed on Sept. 28 in the Harris County 269th District Court that one of the wheels on the Hampton Bay Four-Wheel Hose Cart he bought two years ago “projected upwards” and struck him in his head and hands as he was engaged in the inflation process.

Liberty Garden Products, Inc. is listed as a co-defendant since it purportedly manufactured the cart.

Consequently, Taylor seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

He is represented by Evan N. Kramer of the law firm Daw & Ray, LLP in Houston.
