HOUSTON – A Louisiana woman who filed a lawsuit two months ago after a baked potato triggered an allergic reaction seeks to end the litigation.

Recent Harris County District Court records show that Stephanie Dixon Young filed a motion to dismiss with prejudice into her suit against Kingwood-based LaTrelle’s on Oct. 3.

As previously reported in The Southeast Texas Record, Young pursued legal action because a Wendy’s restaurant managed by the defendant at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport served her the item with onions despite her request not to have them.

After eating the baked potato, Young experienced difficulty breathing and seizures before, during, and after her flight to Las Vegas.

LaTrelle’s did not provide an original answer, according to court records.

Young also submitted a notice to nonsuit.
