GALVESTON — A billboard owner is suing First Choice Builders and Anthony Portillo, citing alleged breach of contract.

Gilbtreath & Co., doing business as Gilbtreath Outdoor Advertising, filed a complaint on Oct. 4, in the Galveston County District Court alleging that the defendants failed to make monthly payments when due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 20, 2017, defendants contracted plaintiff to advertise their business on billboards owned by plaintiff and would pay $6,000 for it.

To date, the amounts are due and unpaid. The plaintiff holds First Choice Builders and Anthony Portillo responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to pay the amounts due under the contract.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages, plus interest, costs, attorney's fees and all other relief to which plaintiff may be entitled. It is represented by Rich Melendez of Melendez Law PC in Houston.
